Hooked on Excitement: A Deep-Sea Fishing Excursion to Remember

What a fantastic day out on the water with Justin Goodman and his son here in Palm Beach, Florida. As a guide with Palm Beach Charters, I was thrilled to take them on our 4-Hour AM Deep Sea Fishing Excursion. March is a prime time for offshore and deep-sea fishing in these parts, with warming waters bringing the prized Mutton Snapper and Mahi Mahi closer to the surface.

We left the dock at 8:00 am and wasted no time getting the lines in the water. The weather was perfect - partly cloudy, but still plenty of sun to keep us comfortable. We started with some deep-sea jigging, working the different depths to see what was biting. It didn't take long before Justin's rod doubled over - he had a Mutton Snapper on the line! That fish put up one heck of a fight, but he kept his cool and brought it in. Shortly after, my line went screaming as I hooked into a nice Mahi Mahi. We worked that fish hard, enjoying the jumps and acrobatics before finally getting it in the boat.
