Mahi Mahi or Common Dolphinfish

What a day out on the water we had with Bella and their crew! We set out from 900 Blue Heron Blvd in Palm Beach Shores for our Fishing Charters West Palm Beach | 4 Hour Charter Trip, and the action was nonstop from start to finish. The weather was a bit unpredictable, with some storms rolling through, but we managed to take advantage of the calmer windows and boat some great Mahi Mahi.

As soon as we got the lines in, the Mahi Mahi started hitting. We used a combination of deep sea tactics and jigging to find them, and the crew was hooking up left and right. Those Mahi really put up a fight, but everyone did a great job landing them. We also got into some nice tuna and a few other species on the trolling rigs. Offshore fishing in Palm Beach in May can be so productive, with the warmer waters drawing in big game fish like these. 

The group was awesome - everyone was really engaged and having a blast. Even when the storms rolled through, we just took a break, enjoyed the views, and waited it out. As soon as the skies cleared, we were right back at it. That's what I love about these trips - it's not just about the fish you catch, but the whole experience of being out on the water, surrounded by great people. It was a beautiful day out on the water with Oliver for our 4-Hour AM Deep Sea Fishing Excursion in scenic Palm Beach, Florida. March is a prime time for offshore fishing in these parts, with warming waters bringing in the big game fish. We left the dock at 900 Blue Heron Blvd right at 8 AM, ready to chase some of Palm Beach's top offshore species.

As soon as we got the lines in the water, the action started. We were working a mix of deep sea, jigging, and trolling techniques, focusing on areas we knew would be holding fish. It didn't take long before Oliver's rod doubled over - he was into a feisty Great barracuda that put up one heck of a fight. After a bit of a tussle, he managed to get that fish in the boat, and we quickly got back to work. Throughout the morning, we kept the steady action going, mixing in some scrappy Scup between the bigger bites.

The whole trip had a really fun, easygoing vibe. Between the bites, we'd share stories, admire the Palm Beach scenery, and just enjoy being out on the water.
